Come and join me for a few hours of making. Trim your house and Christmas tree with your very own unique embossed hanging Christmas decorations made from metal foils and up-cycled cans.
Using templates to draw your design onto metal, you will be guided through the art of embossing to create a beautiful surface which catches the light. From stars, Christmas trees to birds and hearts, what will you choose? You should take home at least 2 decorations. The technique uses basic tools and equipment found at home, so you can continue to add to your collection.
You may wish to bring your own designs to transfer and emboss. Please make them no larger than 10x10cm
My workshops are suitable for beginners aged 14+ so grab a friend, mum, daughter, dad ….and have ago.
All equipment and materials included. You may wish to bring an apron or overalls but this isn’t a very messy craft. You might also need your readers for close up work.
